As we at MeetingPodcast (meaning Jon, Tom and I {Mike}) have now moved into the Media Space having our show I get a bunch of these press releases daily. What do you think about this one? Is it meant to be a teaser? I am new to this…….. Looks like it might be a fun place for the right group!

The HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO released some news today that they are to offer a new “Higher Frequency” sensory meetings programs to enhance impact and ROI of corporate events and meetings.

They are billing new Energized, Focused and Relaxed Sensory-Themed Meeting Programs which will accompany the opening of the 75,000 Square Feet of new Meeting Space

LAS VEGAS, NV (April, 2009) – The importance of customizing meetings to achieve the greatest success and return on investment for corporate, association and incentive groups is at an all time high.

Higher Frequency is comprised of three sensory-packed experiences based on the varying moods meeting planners and corporate clients have expressed the most interest in achieving. These three sensory experiences are Energized, Focused, and Relaxed, and within each program the menus, color schemes, aromas, fruit infused waters and music will all be customized to match the tone. Some of the details of each program include:

Energized

- Citrus aromatherapy scent specifically selected to energize both body and mind.

- Mind teasers at each place setting.

- Vibrant red colors to stimulate the senses.

- Upbeat, classic rock n’ roll music to start the meeting.

Focused

- Aromatherapy scent specifically selected to enhance focus and concentration.

- A piece of Hard Rock memorabilia to get the creative juices flowing.

- Minimal color, allowing for rapt attention to the topic at hand. (what happened to the red?)

- Play list of rock n’ roll jam sessions to start the meeting.

Relaxed

- Chamomile or eucalyptus aromatherapy scent specifically selected to release your mind and relax your body.

- Smooth worry stone to ease away tensions at each seat.

- Calming cool blue color to relax fast paced thoughts.

- Play list of acoustic sets to start the meeting.

Whether hosting a content-packed board meeting or a scaled-back incentive meeting that needs to maintain its punch, Hard Rock has the experience, creativity and organization to exceed the highest expectations. Meeting planners will have a Shadow, their meeting concierge, anticipating every need and fulfilling requests from start to finish. A new Rider program, long known in the rock world as a contract addendum fulfilling every star’s wish, will give meeting planners the opportunity to customize their VIP’s favorite amenities.

Upon completion in April, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will have over 81,000 total square feet of flexible meeting space. As part of Hard Rock’s $750 million expansion and renovation, the 40-total meeting rooms will offer first-class amenities only found at Las Vegas’ original boutique-style hotel. The meeting spaces will feature spectacular modern, rock glamour décor and include up-to-date technology, such as built in flat screens with projection capability, wireless Internet and CAT5 cabling. Additionally, Hard Rock is adding 860 new guest rooms, totaling 1,525 rooms and suites; including HRH, an all-suite 15-story tower and Paradise Tower, a 17-story tower adjacent to the new meeting space. Guestroom blocks of up to 1,200 rooms per night will be available along with sumptuous suites.
